I'm starting this blog to track my love affair with fashion and beauty. It's been in my blood forever. As a child I attended my uncle's shows at New York Fashion Week, walking the runways as he tended to the crush of press backstage. I sat next to royalty, both real and cultural, while my classmates back home in Philadelphia worked on their long division. Since then, both my uncle and I have come a long way. After NYFW SS 02 was postponed due to the tragic events of September 11th, I stopped attending Fashion Week to allow for the huge demands of extra press at his shows.
I love to cultivate my style, see how it evolves, and create new looks from old pieces, both high end and High Street. I read the magazines from all around the world, and am particularly fond of Elle UK, since it was one of the first international ones my mom bought me. I constantly look for new inspirations and sources, and am currently obsessed with the High Street stores of the UK, like TopShop and River Island and ASOS.
So all in all, this blog is just about fashion and beauty how I see it. Now on with the show!
